【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingtheISOspeedandISOaveragegradientofblack-and-whitecameranegativephotographicfilmsusedforfirstgenerationmicrofilmingofsourcedocumentsatexposuretimestypicallyfoundwithtungstensources.Thesesourcedocumentsincludeanyhandwrittenorprintedalphanumericandlinedocumentssuchasbooks,periodicals,businesscorrespondence,andengineeringdrawings.Thevalue-ratingsystemdescribedinthisInternationalStandardisonlyusefultotheconsumerifhisexposureilluminationisfromanincandescenttungstensourceasdescribedin5.3.3.Itisnotintendedtoincludepictorialorcontinuoustonereproduction,computeroutputmicrofilm(COM),reversalprocessedordirectpositivefilmsorotherfilmsexposedbynon-tungstensourcessuchaslaserorcathoderaytube.TheISOspeedandISOaveragegradientvaluesobtainedbyapplyingthisInternationalStandardareintendedforpracticaluseincomparingfilm/processcombinationsandforcomputingexposures.
