【摘要】:Determiningthepotentiometricsurfaceofanareaisessentialforthepreliminaryplanningofanytypeofconstruction,landuse,environmentalinvestigations,orremediationprojectsthatmayinfluenceanaquifer.5.1.1Thepotentiometricsurfaceintheproposedimpactedaquifermustbeknowntoproperlyplanfortheconstructionofawaterwithdrawalorrechargefacility,forexample,awell.Themethodofconstructionofstructures,suchasbuildings,canbecontrolledbythedepthofthegroundwaterneartheproject.Otherprojectsbuiltbelowlandsurface,suchasminesandtunnels,areinfluencedbythehydraulichead.Monitoringthetrendoftheground-watertableinanaquiferoveraperiodoftime,whetherfordaysordecades,isessentialforanypermanentlyconstructedfacilitythatdirectlyinfluencestheaquifer,forexample,awastedisposalsiteoraproductionwell.5.2.1Long-termmonitoringhelpsinterpretthedirectionandrateofmovementofwaterandotherfluidsfromrechargewellsandpitsorwastedisposalsites.Monitoringalsoassistsindeterminingtheeffectsofwithdrawalsonthestoredquantityofwaterintheaquifer,thetrendofthewatertablethroughouttheaquifer,andtheamountofnaturalrecharget1.1Thisguidecoversaseriesofoptions,butdoesnotspecifyacourseofaction.Itshouldnotbeusedasthesolecriterionorbasisofcomparison,anddoesnotreplaceorrelieveprofessionaljudgment.1.2Thisguidesummarizesmethodsforthepresentationofwater-leveldatafromground-watersites.Note18212;Asusedinthisguide,asiteismeanttobeasinglepoint,notageographicareaorproperty,locatedbyanX,Y,andZcoordinatepositionwithrespecttolandsurfaceorafixeddatum.Aground-watersiteisdefinedasanysource,location,orsamplingstationcapableofproducingwaterorhydrologicdatafromanaturalstratumfrombelowthesurfaceoftheearth.Asourceorfacilitycanincludeawell,springorseep,anddrainortunnel(nearlyhorizontalinorientation).Othersources,suchasexcavations,drivendevices,boreholes,ponds,lakes,andsinkholes,whichcanbeshowntobehydraulicallyconnectedtothegroundwater,areappropriatefortheuseintended.1.3Thestudyofthewatertableinaquifershelpsintheinterpretationoftheamountofwateravailableforwithdrawal,aquifertests,movementofwaterthroughtheaquifers,andtheeffectsofnaturalandhuman-inducedforcesontheaquifers.1.4Asinglewaterlevelmeas
